Natalie is a dynamic presenter, performer, and educator with an enduring passion for theatre. As co-host of the Theatre Audience Podcast, she brings warmth, insight, and infectious enthusiasm to conversations that celebrate the best of British stage.
A seasoned performer with credits across major UK venues and appearances on BBC Television, Natalie combines artistic flair with over two decades of experience in education. She is also the creator and host of Teachers Talk Radio, where she leads thought-provoking discussions on the performing arts, creativity, and the role of education in shaping future talent.
With a deep understanding of both performance and pedagogy, Natalie bridges the worlds of stage and classroom – inspiring audiences and students alike through her love of storytelling and live theatre.


Darren is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, and director whose work spans stage and screen. As the founder of Making Productions, he is dedicated to reimagining classic works and amplifying underrepresented voices, bringing bold new stories to life with originality and purpose.
To date, Darren has produced 35 plays, musicals, operas, and films including the Olivier Award-nominated La Bohème, and has collaborated with leading venues such as the King’s Head Theatre. His debut film, Blueberry Smoothie, garnered international acclaim – winning the New York Screenwriting Award and Best Performance – LGBTQ+ at the Toronto Film Festival – before premiering at the London Independent Film Festival.
Darren’s creative vision continues to evolve through his directing, producing, and screenwriting work, as well as through the Theatre Audience Podcast, where he brings his deep industry insight and passion for live performance to every conversation. A true champion of inclusivity and innovation, Darren remains a driving force in shaping the future of British theatre and film.
