Natalie is a multi-talented artist and passionate theatre enthusiast, specialising in acting, dancing, singing, writing, and teaching drama. In 2019, she created the widely acclaimed Theatre Audience Podcast, where she serves as the charismatic host, bringing captivating conversations and insights from the world of theatre to her dedicated listeners.
In addition to her podcasting endeavours, Natalie hosts her own Teachers Talk Radio show, engaging in thought-provoking discussions on the intersection of education and the performing arts. Her expertise extends beyond hosting, as she contributes to the field as a visiting examiner for A-Level and GCSE examinations and also facilitates enlightening Keynote Education courses.
With an impressive performance history, Natalie has graced renowned venues such as The Criterion, The Bloomsbury, Riverside Studios, The Royal Albert Hall, The Peacock, The Gatehouse, and The Young Vic, leaving audiences captivated in London’s vibrant West End. Her talent has also been showcased on BBC TV, further establishing her presence in the industry. Dusting off her acting shoes, Natalie was invited by Darren to have a role in his hugely successful short film Blueberry Smoothie, which garnered prestigious accolades.
Adding to her remarkable achievements, Natalie possesses 22 years of invaluable experience as Director of Drama, Head of Drama, Head of Arts Faculty, and Gifted & Talented Coordinator in various state and independent secondary schools. Throughout her career, she has directed numerous productions, nurtured aspiring talent through LAMDA coaching, and guided countless students to success in auditions for prestigious Drama Schools and the National Youth Theatre.

Darren Lee Murphy
Darren is a multifaceted artist, excelling as an actor, writer, producer, and director. Alongside his podcasting endeavours, Darren continues to make his mark in the world of performing arts. In 2014, Darren founded his production company, Making Productions, with a mission to bring forth bold new writing and reimagine existing works in innovative ways that captivate and entertain audiences. His vision is to foster creativity in the performing arts by combining emerging talents with experienced collaborators, partner organisations, and co-producers. Darren’s passion lies in championing the voices of women, the global majority, and LGBT+ creatives, driving inclusivity and representation in the industry.
Under the banner of Making Productions, Darren has successfully produced an impressive array of 24 plays, musicals, and operas. In a fruitful collaboration with the renowned King’s Head Theatre, they have brought to life 10 remarkable shows, including the critically acclaimed La bohème, which received a coveted Olivier Award nomination for Best New Opera Production in 2018. His talent and dedication recently culminated in the completion of his debut short film, Blueberry Smoothie, where he served as the accomplished writer and director. The film received critical acclaim, earning him the prestigious New York Screenwriting Award 2023 for Best Short Screenplay LGBTQIA Winner, as well as the honour of Winner for Best Performance – LGBTQ+ at the Toronto Film Festival 2023. The world premiere of Blueberry Smoothie took place at the esteemed London Independent Film Festival in 2023.
